Entrepreneurship in the digital economy: Latin American "unicorns"

The high growth potential of emerging economies makes them attractive markets for both national firms and those from developed economies. Nonetheless, firms from developed markets often face a series of challenges when establishing operations that require them to innovate and adapt their business models to new social, economic and cultural environments, as well as to unstable institutional frameworks.
